SynWeb uses SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to produce reports on the web. In order to use SSRS, you must have SQL Server 2008 R2 running on your server. If you do not have SQL Server 2008 R2, you can disable SSRS and use the existing Crystal Reports instead.
Note: This method supersedes the SSRSEnabledFlag key in Synergetic.xml.
To disable SSRS:
- Navigate to the SynwebCfg directory on your server.
- Open the Synergetic.xml file with Notepad.
- Scroll down until you find the SSRS fields.
- Set the SSRSEnabledFlag value to False.
SSRS is disabled for this SynWeb configuration. Login to Synergetic using your administrator login. - Select Module > System > Configuration File Maintenance.
The following window is displayed. - Type ssrs to filter the settings.
- Select the EnabledFlag.
- Clear the Value field.
Click .
Note: See SSRS_EnabledFlag configuration setting.
