Use the Courses tab to view information on external or internal courses that the past student attended.
Note: Use the Classes tab to view details of academic and co-curricular classes offered by your organisation. See Past Student Maintenance - Classes tab (on page ).

To open the Courses tab: - Select Module > Development > Past Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Past Student Search Criteria window is displayed. Tip: You can also access the past student functions by clicking . - Select the past student. See Searching for past students (on page ).
The Personal tab of the Past Student Maintenance window is displayed. - Click the Courses tab.

Grid area fields
The fields displayed depend on whether the Show Financial field is selected or not.
Field | Description |
---|
Type | File type for the course. |
Course Code | Abbreviation for the course. |
Description | Description of the course. This is populated from Course Maintenance. |
Status | Current course status for the selected student. |
Linked Course | Prior course that this course is linked to, if applicable. To maintain the status, click and update the Prior Course field on the Enrolment tab. |
Status Date | Date the course status was updated. To maintain the date, click and update the Date field on the Enrolment tab. |
Start Date | Start date of the course. |
End Date | End date of the course. |
Total Fees | Cost of the course. This field and the following three are only displayed if the Show Financial field is selected. See Show Financial below. |
Charged | Total the student is charged for the course. |
Paid | Amount paid for the course to date. |
Owing | Amount owing for the course. |
Fields
Field | Description |

File Type | Filter based on the file type of the courses. See File types in the Introduction manual. Courses can be either academic or co-curricular. You can: - Do nothing to display academic courses (file type A) by default.
- Select the Not Selected option, from the drop-down list, to display courses of all file types.
- Change the file type selection to view courses in other areas.

Show Financial | Also display financial details about the course. Note: Click and click the Payment tab to view more financial details in the Course Details Maintenance window. |
