Description
The NotifyOriginal configuration setting determines the body of the email sent to the original teacher when a substitution is arranged.
The following CustomHTML fields are permitted:
Replaceable field | Description |
{ClassCode} | Code of the class being substituted. |
{ClassDescription} | Description of the class being substituted. |
{ClassList} | List of the students enrolled in the class. |
{Date} | Date of the substitution. |
{OriginalStaffCode} | Staff code of the teacher originally timetabled to teach the class. |
{OriginalStaffMail-NamePrimary} | Mailing name of the original teacher. |
{OriginalStaff-Preferred} | Preferred name of the original teacher. |
{Period} | Period the class is scheduled for. |
{Room} | Room the class is scheduled to be in. |
{SubstituteMail-NamePrimary} | Substitute teacher's primary name. |
{TimeFrom} | Time the class starts. |
{WorkTasks} | Work tasks assigned from the original teacher. |
Default value
The default value is blank.
Setting a new value
Type the email body into the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window. See Configuration File Maintenance window in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.
