You can delete events in SynWeb by clicking Image Removed Image Added in the main toolbar.

SynWeb will not allow you to delete an event when:

  • Show on Website and Available in Public fields are selected on the Web bar.
  • attendees are listed in the grid area of either:
  • Current Attendees bar
  • Past Attendees tab in Synergetic. See Events Maintenance - Past Attendees tab in the Synergetic Development manual.

  1. Search for the event to be deleted. See Searching for events (on page ).
  2. Click the Web bar. See Events Maintenance - Web bar AnchorH_41928H_41928 (on page ).
  3. Deselect the following fields.
     Show On Web Site
     Available to Public.
    Image RemovedImage Added
  4. Click the Current Attendees bar. See Events Maintenance - Current Attendees bar - Attendee Details sub-tab (on page ).
  5. Click Image Removed Image Added.
    The Events Bulk Add/Delete window is displayed.
  6. Update the selections in the Events Bulk Add/Delete window to delete any current attendees from the grid area. See Adding or deleting community members to events in bulk (on page ).
  7. Open the Past Attendees tab of Events Maintenance in Synergetic. See Events Maintenance - Past Attendees tab in the Synergetic Development manual.
  8. Delete any past attendees.
    Tip: You can only delete individual attendees on the Past Attendees tab, but you can click Image Removed Image Added on the Event bar to transfer past attendees back to the Current Attendees tab where you can click Image Removed Image Added to access the Events Bulk Add/Delete window.
  9. Click the Event bar. See Events Maintenance - Event bar (on page ).
  10. Click Image Removed Image Added.
    The following window is displayed.
    Image RemovedImage Added
  11. Click Image Removed Image Added.
  12. Click Image Removed Image Added in the SynWeb toolbar.
    The Confirm Delete window is displayed.

  13. Type Delete.
  14. Click Image RemovedImage Added.
