To open the Name bar:

  1. Select Community from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Community Maintenance Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for a community member. See Searching for community members.
  3. Click on the Name bar.

    Tip:
     You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Community Record Type

Type of record. You can select either:

  • personal
  • company
  • personal company.

Personal fields

Title

Community member's title.

Gender

Community member's gender.

Note: You can define the list of genders used at your organisation using the luGender lookup table. See luGender lookup table.

Surname

Community member's surname.

Given

Community member's given name.

Given 2

Community member's given second name.

Preferred

Community member's preferred name.

Preferred Formal

Community member's preferred formal name.

Internal Name

Community member's name used by the Synergetic database.

Override Internal Name

Select to use a different internal name.

Initials

Community member's initials.

Override Initials

Select to use different initials.

Occupation Description

Description of the company's main business. For example 'Garden Maintenance'.

Company

Name of the company.

Attention

Name of recipient within the company if required.

Search Filter

The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Community Selector. This field can be used to filter community members by any of the information displayed in the Community Selector.
