Note: Companies are the level one subject class categories of Cadet Maintenance. See the luSubjectClassCategory lookup table (on page ).

To create companies:

1. Select Curriculum > Cadet Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
   Note: The title of the Co-Curricular Maintenance menu item is determined by the MenuText field in the luFileTypeProgram lookup table. See the luFileTypeProgram lookup table (on page ).
   The Set Company Search Criteria window is displayed.

   Note: The windows in Cadet Maintenance use the words Company, Platoon and Section. This text is set using the SubjectClassCategoryLevel fields in the luFileTypeProgram lookup table. See the luFileTypeProgram lookup table (on page ).
2. Click Image Removed Image Added.
   The Create New Company window is displayed.

   Tip: You can also display the Create New Company window by clicking Image Removed Image Added in the SynWeb toolbar.
3. Select a Campus.
4. Type a Code for the company. For example, Company A.
5. Type a Description for the company. For example, Company A.
6. Select Cadet training from the Training drop-down list. See Creating co-curricular learning areas (on page ).

   Note: The title of this field is determined by the LearningAreaOverride field. See the luFileTypeProgram lookup table (on page ).
7. Select a Staff Member to oversee the category.

8. Click Image Removed Image Added.
   The company is created and displayed in the Company Selector.

9. Repeat steps 2 through 8 to create additional companies.
