Loading community members into a tag list from an Excel spreadsheet

You can load a group of community members into your tag list from:

  • An Excel spreadsheet, as outlined below.
  • A tag list that you previously created and stored in Synergetic. See Loading a tag list (on page ).
  • A text file. See Loading community members into a tag list from a file (on page ).

To load a group of community members into your tag list from a list in an Excel spreadsheet:

  1. Start Microsoft Excel.
  2. Open the spreadsheet containing the list of community members.
    Note: The spreadsheet must contain a column containing the Synergetic ID of each person you want to load into the tag list.
     

  3. Highlight the cells containing the Synergetic IDs.
     

  4. Switch back to Synergetic.

  5. Select Window > Show Tag List from the main menu.
    The Tag List window is displayed.


  6. Click .
    The Load Tag Lists window is displayed.


  7. Select Clear tagged items first, if you are overwriting rather than appending to your current tag list.

  8. Click .
    The following dialog window is displayed.
     

  9. Click .
    The community members are added to your tag list.
