Medical Maintenance - Medical Summary tab

Use the Medical Summary tab to view medical details about community members at a glance.


 Opening the Medical Summary tab

To open the Medical Summary tab:

  1. Select Students > Medical Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Incidents tab of Medical Maintenance is displayed.
  2. Click the Medical Summary tab.
    The Medical Summary tab of the Medical Maintenance window is displayed.

Fields

Field

Description

Severity

Severity of the medical condition.

Note: You can maintain medical condition severity levels including the colour assigned to each severity level using the luMedicalConditionSeverity lookup table. See the luMedicalConditionSeverity lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

Medical Condition

Description of the medical condition. For example, Anaphylaxis.

Note: If the medical condition is confidential, this field and the following two fields only display the word "Confidential".

Details

Details about the medical condition. For example, Allergic to all nuts.

Note: This information is entered using the Condition Details field. See the Medical Maintenance - Medical Conditions tab.

Emergency Treatment

Details about emergency treatment for the medical condition. For example, Immediately administer EpiPen.

Note: This information is entered using the Emergency Treatment Details field. See the Medical Maintenance - Medical Conditions tab.

Type

Type of medical condition. For example, Allergy.

Note: You can maintain medical incident types using the luMedicalIncidentType lookup table. See the luMedicalIncidentType lookup table in the Synergetic System maintenance manual.

View

View details of the selected medical condition in the Medical summary window.

Tip: You can click to view other medical conditions for the selected community member.

Default email

Default email address of the community member.

Note: The default email address is defined using the Default Email field on the Phone bar of Community Maintenance. See Community Maintenance - Phone bar.

Home address

Home address of the community member.

Note: The home address is defined using the Home Address bar of Community Maintenance. See Community Maintenance - Home Address bar.

Common buttons

Button

Description

Click to display the Add reminder window.

When the medical details of the selected community member need to be updated, you can use this window to create a reminder action centre message with details of the update.

Click to display a list of available medical reports.

Note: This currently supports the Medical Incident Note report.

Used to navigate between the records of community members signed into medical maintenance.

Tip: You can navigate to a specific page by typing the page number into the Go to field and pressing Enter.
