Subject Assessment Area Maintenance - Area bar - Statistics tab

Use the Statistics tab to view statistics recorded against an assessment area. For example, when the WAAR student results calculations are run. See Processing result checks and calculations in the Synergetic Assessments and reports manual.

Opening the Statistics tab

To open the Statistics tab:

Select Curriculum > Assessment Area Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Subject Assessment Area Search Criteria window is displayed.
Search for the assessment area.
Click on the Area bar.

Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar other than the caption to open it.
Click next to the subject assessment area you want to maintain.
The Area tab of the Area bar of Subject Assessment Area Maintenance is displayed.
Click the Statistics tab
The Statistics tab of the Area bar of Subject Assessment Area Maintenance is displayed.

Fields

Field	Description
Minimum	Minimum value achieved by a student for an assessment area.
Maximum	Maximum value achieved by a student for an assessment area.
Average	Average for the student achievements for an assessment area.
Variance	Variance for the student achievements for an assessment area.
Standard Deviation	Standard deviation for the student achievements for an assessment area.

Common buttons

Button	Description
	Navigate between the subject assessment areas.
	Delete the selected subject assessment area. See Deleting subject assessment areas.
	Create a new subject assessment area.
	Search for another subject assessment area.
	Customise which navigation bars are displayed and their order.
	Create a task relating to the selected subject assessment area.
