Viewing STP event files

To view the STP event file:

1. Open the Finalise Payroll window. See Finalising payroll.
   The Finalise Payroll window is displayed.
   
2. Click .
   The Process STP window is displayed.
   
   

   Note: For information about the fields and buttons of the Process STP window, see Process STP window.
   
   

   Note: You can also process Single Touch Payroll events using the STP Maintenance window. See STP Maintenance window.
   
   
3. Click .
   The details of the STP event are displayed.
   
4. Review the STP event file. You can:
   
   • click and  to expand and collapse sections of the STP event.
      
      - to view the pay details section of the STP event.
      - to export the payroll event tree view as a text file
      - to run the STP submission report
   
   • Type into  and navigate search results by clicking .
   
   Note: As per ATO requirements, the Payee Name Details section of each payee lists the Family Name, First Name, and Other Name of each employee without accents.  
   
   Viewing STP event files is complete.

You can continue processing the STP event by approving and submitting the STP event file. See Approving and submitting STP event files.
