Current Student Maintenance - Comment tab

Use the Comment tab to:

  • make other staff aware of important information about the student
  • maintain important comments about the student.


 Opening the Comment tab

To open the Comment tab:

  1. Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
    The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.

    Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clicking .

  2. Search for the student. See Searching for existing students in the Current students manual.
  3. Click the Comment tab.
    The Comment tab of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.


Current Student Maintenance - Comment tab key fields

Field

Description

Show Important Comments Message

Select to indicate that there are comments on the student's record. The icon is displayed on the Student Maintenance window.

Tip: Click the icon on the Student Maintenance window to go straight to the Comment tab.

Note: A system beep may also warn of important comments.

Comment

Comments about the student. For example, 'Parents separated: student spends alternate weeks with each parent'.
