Unlocking exported classes

If a class has been exported from the network version of Synergetic, you cannot modify the results on the network version until the results are either:

  • re-imported
  • unlocked by an administrator or a user with access rights to Class Maintenance.

Warning: Before unlocking a class, confirm with the teacher that the class should be unlocked.

To unlock the class results:

  1. Select Module > Students or Assessments, then Class Maintenance.
    The Set Class Search Criteria window is displayed.

    Tip:
    You can also access the class maintenance functions by clicking  or  .

  2. Select the required class.
    The General tab of the Class Maintenance window is displayed.
  3. Clear the Results Exported field.
  4. Click .
  5. Check the Student Results Maintenance window for the class, to ensure that the class is no longer locked. See Maintaining student results.
  6. Update the related settings in Staff Maintenance. See Updating staff members after unlocking exported classes.
