Using the Year Group Allocation tab

Use the Year Group Allocation tab to define subject allocations for year groups.

To define subject allocations for a year group:

  1. Remove default data from the Year Group Allocation tab. See Removing data from the Year Group Allocation tab.
  2. Insert new subject columns into a year group. See Inserting new subject columns into a year group.
  3. Define representative subject allocations for a year group. See Defining representative subject allocations.
  4. Copy representative subject allocations to other year groups. See Copying representative year groups.
  5. Set up joins as needed. See Joining multiple subjects and year groups.
  6. Cross check allocations. See Cross-checking allocations.

You can also:
• Allocate specialist teachers to subjects. See Allocating specialist teachers to subjects.
• Delete subject columns from a year group. See Deleting subject columns from a year group.
