Description
Use the LinkInstalmentsAndPlansFlag configuration setting to determine whether instalments and payment plans are linked. When they are:
- linked the charging frequency of payment plan instalments (maintained using the Instalments tab) is updated when debtors update their payment frequency using the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal.
- unlinked the charging frequency of payment plan instalments (maintained using the Instalments tab) is not updated when debtors update their payment frequency using the Payment Plans tab of the Community Portal.

Default value
The default value is False. Instalments and payment plans are unlinked.
Setting a different value
Select the Value field of the Configuration File Maintenance window to link instalments and payment plans. See Configuration File Maintenance window.
