Synergetic Subscriber Status window

The Synergetic Subscriber Status window displays statistics about the transmission of VSN (Victorian Student Number) information from Synergetic to the VSR (Victorian Student Registrar) through the VSR VSN Service. See Maintaining VSR VSN services.

Opening the Synergetic Subscriber Status window

To open the Synergetic Subscriber Status window:

Select Module > System > Subscriber Status from the main menu.
The VSN (file year) tab of the Synergetic Subscriber Status window is displayed.

Synergetic Subscriber Status window key fields and buttons
Transmission Statistics area fields

Field	Description
Last Sent	Date and time that the VSN information was last transmitted to the VSR.
Last Received	Date and time that VSN information was last received from the VSR.
Unsent Batch Count	Number of batches that been generated but not yet to be sent to the VSR.
Unsent Student Count	Number of students that have not yet been sent to the VSR.
Approx. Next Send	Approximate date and time of the next transmission to the VSR.
Exceptions Count	Count of exceptions from the last VSN transmission.
Success Count	Count of students with VSN information successfully submitted.
Awaiting Reply Count	Count of students that Synergetic is still awaiting reply from the VSR for.

Student Statistics area fields

Field	Description
Valid VSN	Number of students with a valid VSN that have been transmitted.
'New' VSN	Number of students assigned a new VSN through the VSR VSN Service. Note: Students with the value N in the Gov Student Number field on the Codes tab of Student maintenance are automatically assigned a new VSN.
Unknown VSN	Number of students listed as having an existing VSN, though the student's VSN is unknown. These students are transmitted to the VSR and their VSN is re-assigned.
Empty VSN	Number of students who currently have no VSN entry.
Total Student Count	Total number of students requiring a VSN in your organisation.

Unaccounted Students grid area fields
The Unaccounted Students grid field contains information for students who have been reported to VSR (Victoria Students Registrar) but do not have a VSN.

Grid field	Description
Last Name	Student's surname.
First Name	Student's fist given name.
File Year	File year that the student record exists in.
Process Status	Status of the student's VSN.
Description	Description of the process status.
ID	Student's Synergetic ID.
