School Settings Maintenance - LOTE by Year Level tab

Use the LOTE by Year Level tab to maintain information about aspects of the LOTE programs associated with a specific campus and year level in your organisation. The LOTE programs are defined on the School Settings Maintenance - LOTE Codes tab.

 Opening the LOTE by Year Level tab

To open the LOTE by Year Level tab:

  1. Select Module > System > School Settings Maintenance from the main menu.
    The School tab of the School Settings Maintenance window is displayed.
  2. Click the LOTE by Year Level tab.
    The LOTE by Year Level tab of the School Settings Maintenance window is displayed.

Grid Fields

Field

Description

LOTE Code

Code for the LOTE program. See School Settings Maintenance - LOTE Codes tab.

Campus

Campus the grid entry is for.

Year Level

Year level the grid entry is for.

Lesson Duration (minutes)

Length of one LOTE lesson for students from this campus and year level.

Number of lessons per week

Number of lessons taught for the LOTE per week for students from this campus and year level.

Study periods per cycle

Number of study periods allocated to this LOTE per timetable cycle for students from this campus and year level.

Number of Terms

Number of terms per year that the LOTE is taught for students from this campus and year level.

Selection Criteria Code

Criteria used to select the students from this campus and year level who are enrolled in this LOTE program. Choose either:

  • All students including that language background
  • Only students from that language background
  • Other than the above.


    Note: These selection criteria can be configured in the luLOTESelectionCriteria lookup table.
