You can extract data from the Synergetic database for your own purposes, using tools such as:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word.
Views have been developed to make it easier to extract data. See Synergetic views (on page ).
Stored procedures have also been developed, particularly for extracting data for mail merge letters. See Using stored procedures to retrieve Synergetic data (on page ).

Note: We do not recommend using the wizard as subsequent changes to your query are more complex to implement. The wizard is used mainly for creating quick queries but does not introduce you to the full functionality of Microsoft Query.
