Staff Maintenance - Photo bar

Use the Photo bar to:

  • view the most recent photo of the staff member
  • review the details of when the photo was updated
  • specify the permission you have received to utilise the photo in your organisation's external communications.

 Opening the Photo bar
  1. Select Human Resources > Staff Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
    The Staff Search Criteria window is displayed.
  2. Search for the staff member. See Searching for staff members (on page ).
  3. Click the Photo bar.
    Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.
    The Photo bar of the Staff Maintenance window is displayed.

Field

Select for permission having been received from the staff member for the photo to be:

Web

Displayed on your organisation's web site that is accessible over the internet.

Promotional Material

Included in promotional material such as promotional displays in public areas.

School Publications

Included in publications sent to a wide group of recipients.


Common buttons

Button

Description

Create a new staff member. See Creating staff members (on page ).

Delete the selected staff member. See Deleting staff members or making them inactive (on page ).

Display the Staff Maintenance Search Criteria window.

You can update the search criteria and search for new staff. See Searching for staff members (on page ).

Customise how the bars are displayed. See Customising navigation bars in the Introduction manual.

Create a new task relating to the current staff member. See Managing tasks in the Introduction manual.

Click to refresh the screen for the selected staff member.
