Use the Absences bar to record details of the staff member's absences from your organisation.
Opening the Staff Maintenance - Absences bar
- Select Human Resources > Staff Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Staff Search Criteria window is displayed.
- Search for the staff member. See Searching for staff members (on page ).
- Click the Absences bar.
Tip: You can click anywhere on a navigation bar other than the caption to open it.

Fields

Absence Date |
Date of the absence. |
Arrival Time and Departure Time |
Period of attendance, if the staff member was absent for part of the day. |
Fraction |
Calculate the fraction of a normal working day, if the staff member was absent for part of the day. |
Absence Type |
Type of absence. For example, time taken off for family matters. Also you can specify whether the absence was for a full day or part of a day. |
Reason Code |
Reason code for the absence type. |

Description of the absence. |
