Use the Courses bar to view details of courses that the student is enrolled in.
Note: Tertiary institutions generally use courses and schools generally use classes. See Current Student Maintenance - Classes bar (on page ).Classes can be grouped into courses if required. Classes can be used where a school offers external courses under various payment options.
Current Student Maintenance - Courses bar key fields and buttons
Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
File Type | Type of class. For example, academic, music or sport. |
Show Financial | Also display the financial details of the course. |
Grid area
The grid area consists of key fields for course entries, if any.
If Show Financial is selected the grid area is as shown below.

Type | Type of course. |
Course Code | Abbreviation for the course. |
Description | Description of the course. |
Status | Current course status for the selected student. |
Linked Course | Prior course that this course is linked to, if applicable. |
Status Date | Date the course status was updated. |
Start Date | Start date of the course. |
End Date | End date of the course. |
Total Fees | Total fees for the course. |
Charged | Total the student is charged for the course. |
Paid | Amount paid for the course to date. |
Owing | Amount owing for the course. |

Search Filter | The Search Filter field is located at the top of the Student Selector. This field can be used to filter students by any of the information displayed in the Student Selector.
