To open the Dates bar: - Select Curriculum > Course Maintenance from the SynWeb main menu.
The Set Course Search Criteria window is displayed. - Search for the course. See Searching for courses.
- Click the Dates bar.
Tip: You can click anywhere on the bar to open it.

Course Maintenance - Dates bar key fields and buttons
Fields
Field | Description |
---|
Start Date | Starting date of the course. |
End Date | Ending date of the course. |
Alternate Finish Date | Alternative ending date of the course. |
Enrolment Open Date | Date that students can begin to enrol in the course. |
Enrolment Closed Date | Date that students can no longer enrol in the course. |
Duration Weeks | Length of the course in weeks. |
Valediction Date | Date that students are farewelled. |
OSHC Months | Number of months used for OSHC calculations. OSHC is required for overseas students for the duration of their enrolment as a condition of their visa in Australia. OSHC: - helps pay for any medical or hospital care students need while studying in Australia
- contributes towards the cost of prescription medicines
- contributes towards an ambulance in an emergency
- does not cover dental, optical and physiotherapy.
- OSHC is arranged by your organisation for the overseas student. Students must register with one of the authorised insurance companies.
