Use the Skills Checks Import window to import skills checks from a file to community members in SynMain.
Opening the Skills Checks Import window
Select Module > Human Resource > Skill Community Checks Import from the main menu.
The Skills Checks Import window is displayed.

Tip: You can also access the Human Resource functions by clicking the HR toolbar icon.
Skills Checks Import window key fields and buttons
Field | Description | |
Select | Use to select one or more records for deletion or import. You can delete either:
Clicking on “Accept and Create Skills” Checks” will import records with this field ticked. | |
Status message | Provide details on data that is invalid for the record | |
ID | ID of the Community member. | |
Code | Code for the skillCheck Type | Type of check. For example, Plumber. |
Level | Level achieved. For example, A Grade. | |
Attained Date | Date that the skill was acquired | |
Expiry Date | Enter the expiry date if the skill will expire on a given date. Note: Some skills have a limited lifetime. For example, plumbers have ongoing certification requirements for their skills to stay currentWorking with Children check. See luCommunityCheckType lookup table in the System maintenance manual. | |
Check Status | Status of the check. For example, Passed - Paid Work Approved. See luCommunityCheckStatus lookup table in the System maintenance manual. | |
Reference | Reference number of the check. | |
Start Date | Start date of the check. | |
End Date | End date of the check. | |
Verified Date | Date the check was verified. | |
Verified By | Staff member that verified the check. | |
Comment | Any comment about the skillcheck. | |
Active | Whether the check is active. | |
Required | Whether the check is required. |
Buttons
Button | Description |
 | Display the load merge file window. See Loading merge files when importing assets. |
 | Delete the currently selected record. |
 | Delete record with the Select field selected. |
 | Delete records with the Select field deselected. |
  | Accept the selected records on the window and create skill checks with the data on the records. |
 | Cancel the skill check import process. |
