Transitioning subject assessment areas from AusVELS to Victorian Curriculum
...
Schools are required to indicate the expected mark for each student taking a Victorian Curriculum class. This task is managed by creating expected result assessment areas for each existing subject assessment area. For example, the Mathematics subject assessment area Statistics and Probability needs a Statistics and Probability (Expected) subject assessment area. Once the expected result subject assessment areas are created they are linked to the existing subject assessment areas using the new Expected Result for Area field. In this case we create two assessment areas - one for the expected result and one for the actual result. Both results will be linked to the same curriculum record, however the expected one will have the new Expected Result checkbox ticked. It is also highly recommended that you prefix the headings with EXP as there is no other visual indication on the results entry screen that this is an expected result. These headings must be manually altered by the user.
