To open the Medical tab:

Select Module > Students > Current Student Maintenance from the main menu.
The Set Current Student Search Criteria window is displayed.
Tip: You can also access the current student functions by clickingImage RemovedImage Added.
Search for the student. See Searching for existing students (on page ) in the Current students manual.
Click the Medical tab.
The Medical tab of the Current Student Maintenance window is displayed.

Medical area fields

Field	Description
Public Medical Alert	Enter a summary of any medical information that needs to be known throughout your organisation, such as potentially life-threatening conditions including anaphylaxis, asthma and epilepsy. Image Removed Image Added Tip: When you are positioned in the field, you can clickImage Removed Image Added on the Synergetic toolbar to check the spelling of the text.
Medical Alert	Select to indicate that the student has a medical condition that staff members need to be alerted to. The medical alert icon Image Removed Image Added is displayed on the Student Maintenance window. Tip: Click on the Image Removed Image Added icon on the Student Maintenance window to go straight to the Medical tab.
